DOG WALKING

It's well known that when your dogs are given exercise and mental stimulation that it helps to improve some behavioural problems such as, excessive barking, chewing and digging.

At Tails of Dublin we offer two types of dog walking services.

  • GROUP WALKS: €15 P.H
  • € 8 P.H for a second dog in the house

This is aimed at those owners who feel their dogs would benefit not only from the exercise but also from social interaction with other dogs.

  • We walk your dog for a minimum of an hour by the sea or in a park.
  • After a full hour of exercise, play and interaction we return your pet happy and content.
  • Give water and treats (treats optional).
  • Towel dry, if necessary.
  • Leave a note telling you how things went.

The safety of your dog is paramount to us and therefore dogs are walked in small groups of 2-3, so each dog can get the attention they need.

*Please note that to ensure the safety of our group we cannot accept any dog with aggressive behaviour. If you have a dog with challenging behaviour, we would suggest an individual walk.

INDIVIDUAL WALKS: €25 P.H

This is recommended for any dog that is not suitable for a group walk, e.g. those with mobility or health problems or aggressive dogs.

Your dog can be walked on or off the leash depending on your requirements.

HOME VISITS - For all animals.

  • 1 visit up to 30 minutes. €10
  • 2 visits in the same day €16
  • A visit with an individual walk: €30

Are you going away for the weekend or on a holiday and worried about your pets and home?

Don't be!

We can:

  • Provide food and water.
  • Empty litter trays and clean cages.
  • Give lots of love and attention to your pets.
  • Administer medication if required.

In addition to taking care of your pet, we will

  • Move the mail.
  • Water the plants.
  • Turn on and off lights.
  • Open and close curtains/blinds.
  • We can text or email you when you are away to let you know how your pet is doing.

HOUSE/PET SITTING: €40 per night

If you prefer not to board your pets in kennels or catteries when you are away and wish to have the added advantage of extra home security, then this is for you.

We will provide care for your animals in their own home, following their usual routine and diet.

  • Includes 1-2 walks per day.
  • Avoids risk of exposure to illnesses from other animals.
  • Your pet gets lots of love and attention.
  • Ideal if you have a number of pets.
  • We can text or email you to let you know how your pet is doing.
  • Includes staying 12 hours overnight.

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

Entrusting us with the care of your pets is an important and difficult decision for you and we want to make sure that everyone involved is happy.

That is why we like to meet with you and your pet and discuss any requirements or special needs you or your pet may have.

We like to know about you pets habits, food, exercise and medical history. Contact information for yourself, your Vet and a relative or friend if you wish in the event you may not be available or away on holiday.

Lastly, we need to see up to date vaccination certificates.
